I went to a local farmers market a couple weekends ago and picked up a couple summer squash – they looked really neat and I’ve never cooked with them before… This last weekend, I went to an auction, I’ve not done that before either. I wound up bidding on, and winning a wood/charcoal bbq/smoker. I spent all day Sunday messing with the thing – cleaning it up, curing it – and finally cooking on it. Sunday morning, I made a marinade for my summer squash and let is soak up the flavor while I cleaned my ‘new to me’ bbq.
